About this part

The Bell & Gossett PTA-5 is a pre-charged ASME diaphragm expansion tank designed to absorb the forces of expanding water in domestic hot water systems and protect against pressure buildup. It isolates system water from the steel shell using an FDA-approved polypropylene liner and butyl diaphragm. This model is suitable for commercial potable water applications up to 150 PSI and 200°F.
