The Taco SD060040-5 is a flanged suction diffuser with rear strainer pullout designed for the suction side of circulation pumps. It combines flow straightening vanes, a permanent stainless steel strainer, and a disposable startup strainer in one compact fitting to eliminate the need for long straight pipe runs. The ductile iron body includes a removable cover for easy maintenance and a blowdown port for sediment removal.
