The Taco 5000 Series 5002-H3 is a lead-free thermostatic mixing valve designed for domestic hot water distribution. It allows higher storage temperatures in water heaters while delivering safe mixed water at 120°F or below and is suitable for potable water systems. The valve features union press connections, stable performance across an extended temperature range, and low head loss.

  • Forged brass body ≤.25% lead
  • ASSE 1017 listed, NSF 61, cUPC, CSA B125.3
  • Outlet temperature range 85-176°F (29-80°C)
  • Max flow 20 gpm, min flow 1 gpm
  • Max inlet pressure 230 psi
  • Factory set 115-120°F, accuracy ±3°F
  • Includes check valves (except non-union models)
