Taco 5000-3 is the bare body for the 5000 Series lead-free thermostatic mixing valve. It accepts the appropriate union tailpieces or female NPT ends to create a complete ASSE 1017 mixing valve for domestic hot water distribution. The body provides stable mixed-water temperature control when paired with the correct connections and is suitable for potable-water applications.

  • Body only, no union connections included
  • Forged brass body ≤.25% lead
  • ASSE 1017 listed, NSF 61, cUPC, CSA B125.3
  • For use with 5000 series 1/2", 3/4" or 1" union models
  • Max inlet pressure 230 psi, outlet range 85-176˚F
