About this part
Spears 838-249 is a Schedule 80 PVC reducing bushing for solvent weld and threaded connections in industrial and commercial piping systems. It allows transition from 2 inch spigot to 1 inch female threaded pipe or fittings while maintaining full Schedule 80 pressure rating. The fitting is molded from PVC Type I material and is suitable for corrosive fluids up to 140°F.
