Oatey 43908 is a 6 inch PVC backwater valve designed to protect basements and low-lying areas from sewage backflow. It features a quick-action flapper with an elastomeric seal and a threaded access cap with neoprene gasket for positive closure. The valve hub connects to DWV pipe and can be adapted for standard sewer and drain applications.
