The Oatey 43904 is a 4 inch PVC backwater valve designed to prevent sewage backflow into basements and low-lying areas. It incorporates a quick-action flapper with an elastomeric seal and a threaded access cap with neoprene seal for positive closure. The valve connects directly to DWV pipe and can be adapted for sewer and drain applications.
