About this part
Shielded transition coupling designed to join a 1-1/2" bathwaste tailpiece to 2" cast iron, plastic or steel pipe. The neoprene sleeve provides a flexible, watertight seal while the stainless steel shield maintains alignment and resists shear forces.
- Joins 1-1/2" bathwaste tailpiece to 2" cast iron, plastic or steel pipe
- Shielded transition coupling with neoprene rubber sleeve per ASTM C 564
- 300 Series stainless steel shield and clamps per ASTM A240
- Meets ASTM C 1460 for shielded transition couplings
- Resists shear forces; reduces noise and vibration
