About this part
Dielectric union for joining copper and steel pipe in potable water systems. The insulated design stops galvanic corrosion while maintaining a watertight seal. Commonly installed on water heater inlets and other locations where dissimilar metals meet.
- 3/4" MIP x 3/4" copper sweat connections
- Lead free construction
- Zinc plated forged steel body
- EPDM washer with ABS fiber sleeve
- Rated 250 PSI at 180°F
- Prevents electrolysis between dissimilar metals
