About this part
The Series 8C is a balanced pressure thermostatic steam trap designed for institutional and commercial heating systems that require high capacity. It provides subcooling to eliminate flash steam losses on low pressure systems and resists moderate water hammer and chemical attack. The trap features a replaceable Dura-Stat module and stainless steel internals.
- 3/4" NPT angle pattern
- 125 psig (8.6 bar) maximum operating pressure
- Balanced pressure thermostatic operation with 30°F subcooling
- Stainless steel components and replaceable Dura-Stat module
