About this part
Fernco 1051-88 is a flexible coupling designed to join 8 inch asbestos cement or ductile iron pipe to cast iron or plastic pipe. It provides a watertight, root-proof seal using a molded elastomeric PVC gasket and stainless steel clamps tightened to 60 in-lbs torque. Suitable for non-pressure gravity flow DWV applications.
- 8" nominal size
- Connects asbestos cement or ductile iron to cast iron or plastic
- Elastomeric PVC body with 300 series stainless steel clamps
- Max test pressure 4.3 psi
- Operating temperature -30°F to 140°F
- Conforms to ASTM D5926, C1173, CSA B602
