About this part
The Apollo 3810401 is an atmospheric type vacuum breaker designed to prevent back-siphonage of polluted water into a potable water system. It must be installed a minimum of 6 inches above all downstream piping with no downstream shutoffs and only in locations where water spillage will not cause damage. This device is not for continuous pressure applications.
