About this part
Spears 836-005 is a 1/2 inch Schedule 80 PVC male adapter fitting with one solvent weld socket end and one male NPT threaded end. It provides a transition between PVC pipe and threaded components in industrial or commercial piping systems. The fitting is produced from Type I PVC and is suitable for corrosive fluid handling where metal is unsuitable.
