Spears 436-101 is a Schedule 40 PVC adapter with a 1/2 inch socket end and 3/4 inch male NPT thread. It provides a transition between solvent-weld PVC pipe and threaded metal or plastic components in irrigation, pool, and general plumbing systems. The fitting is molded from NSF-certified PVC and carries full pressure ratings per Spears specifications when used with Schedule 40 pipe.
